This is the Glenco 1/400 scale tugboat. It comes in a kit that builds 2 vessels, the tug and a riverboat. For starters, I chose to build the tug.
While the kit would build a tug as illustrated on the box, I wanted to make mine a little differntly, so my tug is detailed with lead castings from Smokey Mountain Model Supply, and some leftover PE brass details from Gold Medal Models. I also added a few scratchbuilt pieces.
The only real problem I had with this kit was the rudder. Try as I may, I could not fit the kit's rudder, so I made a new rudder and framed it in with Plastruct square rod.
